The easy grader that does more than divide
Every teacher knows the grading wheel: spin it to the number of questions, and it tells you the score for each number wrong. This is that tool, without the cardboard — and without the ads and pop-ups the other online versions bury it under. Enter your question count, and the full chart appears instantly. Grade a whole class by reading across a row.
But a chart only tells you one score at a time, and then forgets it. The reason teachers keep a gradebook is that a mark isn't finished when you calculate it — it has to be recorded, weighted against everything else, averaged, and eventually shared with the student and put on a report. That's the part that actually eats your evening.
From a number to a real grade
Inside Level Up Classroom, the score you just calculated becomes a permanent mark: filed under the right category, weighted the way your course grades, folded into a live average, and visible to the student the moment you release it. You enter it once. No spreadsheet, no re-typing, no end-of-term arithmetic. It's free to start, with a full weighted gradebook on the free plan.
Stop re-typing marks into a spreadsheet
Level Up Classroom is a full gamified gradebook: weighted categories, automatic averages, a live student portal, an integrated class stream, and synced marks. The easy grader gives you the number — LUC keeps it. Free plan, no credit card.

Easy grader FAQ
How do I calculate a test grade by number wrong?
Enter the total number of questions on the test. The chart shows each number of wrong answers mapped to a percentage and letter grade. To grade a paper, find the number wrong and read across — on a 20-question test, 3 wrong is 17/20, or 85%.
What's the grade if 5 out of 20 are wrong?
5 wrong out of 20 means 15 correct: 15/20 = 75%, a C on a standard scale. Enter 20 questions above and tap the "5 wrong" row to see it.
How does an EZ grader / easy grader work?
It's a lookup tool: tell it how many questions are on the assignment and it precalculates the score for every possible number of wrong answers, so you're not dividing over and over while marking a stack.
Can I set my own grade cutoffs or plus/minus scale?
This grader uses a standard A/B/C/D/F scale (90/80/70/60) by default, and you can turn letter grades off if your school reports percentages only. The percentage for each number wrong is always exact.
How do I convert points earned to a percentage and letter grade?
Divide points earned by points possible and multiply by 100 — 42 out of 50 is 84%. Switch to "By points" mode above to enter points earned and possible directly.
