How do I randomly split my class into groups?
Paste your class list, choose a group size or a number of teams, and click Generate — it shuffles and distributes everyone evenly.
Can I make groups of a specific size?
Yes — "By size" makes as many groups as needed for that size and spreads any remainder so sizes stay even.
How do I create balanced groups?
After shuffling, students are dealt round-robin, so every group is within one member of the same size. Re-generate for a new mix.
Can I generate random pairs?
Set the group size to 2 — with an odd class, one group of three is made.
Does my list get uploaded?
No — it all runs in your browser and clears when you close the tab.
