Every Ontario Curriculum Document, Built In

Teachers select their subject and grade — LUC surfaces the exact curriculum expectations, strands, and learning objectives for every assessment.

Curriculum-Linked Classes

When creating a class, teachers select the Ontario curriculum document for their course. Every assessment and rubric is then linked to the correct:

  • Overall expectations and specific expectations
  • Curriculum strands (e.g. Number Sense, Oral Communication)
  • Learning objectives aligned to Growing Success
  • Achievement chart categories

Subjects & Grade Levels

Packaged curriculum documents spanning Grades 1–12 across all Ontario subject areas:

Mathematics
Science & Technology
English Language Arts
French (Core & Immersion)
Social Studies / History
Geography
The Arts (Drama, Music, Visual)
Health & Physical Education
Guidance & Career Ed
Technological Education
Business Studies
Canadian & World Studies

AI Tools Use Your Curriculum

When teachers generate rubrics, assignments, or lesson plans, the AI automatically references the curriculum expectations for that class:

  • Rubrics aligned to Ontario Level 1–4 achievement chart
  • Assignment prompts that reference specific expectations
  • Report comments that cite strand performance
  • Lesson plans mapped to individual learning objectives

Fully Customizable Frameworks

Ontario defaults are built in, but boards can customize everything:

  • Custom grading categories, names, weights, and colors
  • Board-specific achievement levels and descriptors
  • All 6 Ontario Learning Skills (E/G/S/N) tracked by default
  • Assessment types: Diagnostic, Formative, Summative, Portfolio

Built by a Classroom Teacher

Not a tech company — an educator.

Reece Cantelon is a Drama and English teacher with the Thames Valley District School Board in Ontario. He built Level Up Classroom to solve his own classroom problems — frustrated by juggling Google Classroom, separate gradebooks, attendance trackers, and bolt-on engagement tools that never talked to each other.

LUC started as a personal tool and is now used daily with real students. Every feature exists because a teacher needed it, not because a product team assumed it.

Reece presented at ECOO 2026: "How I Closed 30 Tabs by Building an Entire Platform."

Level Up Classroom Inc. is an independently incorporated Canadian company, not affiliated with TVDSB or any school board.
