Two ways to lay it out, the same two the full app gives you. Grid is rows and columns — and you can tap an empty seat to remove it, because real classrooms have pillars, sinks and doors, and a chart that pretends otherwise is no use to anyone. Free placement is a floor you drag desks around on: pods of four, a horseshoe, two rows facing each other, a reading corner.
