A rubric that grades itself

Set your criteria and levels once, then click the level each student earned — the total and percentage add up instantly, and you can print a clean copy with the boxes highlighted. Ad-free, no sign-up, and your rubric is saved in your browser for next time.

A printed rubric is one mark, once. In Level Up Classroom, a rubric becomes reusable across your class and every score flows straight into the gradebook — weighted, averaged, shown to the student. Free to start.

Rubric maker FAQ

How do I make a grading rubric for free?

Add criteria (rows), set levels and points (columns), and describe each level. Click a cell per criterion to grade — the total adds up. Free, no sign-up.

How do I convert rubric scores to a percentage?

It sums the points of the selected level in each criterion and divides by the maximum (top level everywhere) — the percentage shows automatically.

Can I print or save my rubric?

Yes — Print saves a PDF with your selections highlighted, and it's stored in your browser too.

Analytic vs holistic rubric?

This builds an analytic rubric — several criteria scored separately and added up.
